Keyakizaka46: "Keyakitte, Kakenai?" episode 92 recap

Episode 90 had a group challenge called 'Love Connection' to pair up two members, five duos were chosen. What happens then is that the pairs go out for a day wherever they wish and the whole thing is filmed. The episodes 91-95 are showing the activities the members did, recapped show #91 which was absolutely the pits. This one was slightly better but not enough to win hordes of awards.

You knew this dynamic duo would be paired up and though they've become very good friends have never had a day involving fun activities. As you can se(a)e by the above screenshot the pair of Manaka and Risa picked to spend a day at Sea Paradise but they also went to a few other places.
Thought the pair picked the spot as they may have both liked fish and other sea animals but seemed like they enjoyed the rides much more. I would have liked the thrilling rides myself too so surprised they didn't give me a ring, could have possibly lost my number once again.

It's Manaka and Risa's first time at the aquarium/amusement park and the most fun part of the sea life they enjoyed was above. Strange how they quickly they noticed that activity, least it wasn't a human! After a brief petting session with a dolphin it was on to some fun times and the first thing they picked was to take a drop on the 'Blue Ride'.
Didn't seem like a thrilling ride but the pair enjoyed it as they rode it twice. It's just a contraption which drops you 107 meters or 351 feet. Right after that Manaka and Risa picked the Viking Ship ride, once again they had fun as they also rode it twice. Thought the park had a roller coaster as I would have liked to seen them scream their lungs out on it.

They blurred out the faces but before starting on the Viking Ship ride there were a few fans behind the fence pointing towards them, the crew did try to keep the fans far away. One more ride for the pair and that was the Aqua Ride II where Risa got soaked with water going around a curve and had to change, not positive but think it was planned.

As you can see the gals weren't too enamored of the fish, they should have picked just a huge amusement park then. Sea Paradise is located in Yokohama so the pair then proceeded to visit a few spots. One objective was picking up some souvenirs for the show's two hosts, then it was off to chow down at a restaurant which was the best part of the show.

Lot of the screenshots look like the above ones do as the pair did most of the filming by holding a camera on a long pole, both get very tense with cameramen following them around. The pair picked a regular Japanese restaurant and ordered to their stomach's content. Not cheap eating in Japan as most of what they ordered was over $20.
Manaka and Risa ordered quite a few things such as Shark Fin soup, lobsters, Peking duck, gyoza and much more. The whole tab came close to 20,000 yen which is $181, wonder if shows have to pay the bill or does the place give it to them on the house for free publicity?

We didn't see them eat everything though they did mention they stuck around after the filming and chowed much of it down. Manaka and Risa also had a chit-chat session which they talked about them first meeting and the auditions they attended. Forgot all about it as it just came to my mind that August 21st was the second anniversary of when they announced who would be in the group, this show aired on August 13th.
They also talked about the other members and at times they may have forgotten this was all on film. Nana's name was brought up quite often and she seems like on oddball person.

Thought it was a bit funny when Manaka was talking about meeting Rika for the first time. When it aired in the studio Rika was a bit quiet about what she had said about her, actually she seems more quiet than ever lately on these shows.

Show ended shortly after the pair discussing the events of their day out, they did give the hosts a pair of gifts which were forgettable. Much better than the previous episode, actually Manaka seems like such a fun, interesting and quirky person as she was the main difference in the shows.
The final 'Love Connection' episode airs this Sunday, don't think I'll be recapping that or the other two shows and will pick this back up with episode #96. Still have to get back to watching their 'KeyaBingo!' shows to see how the challenge between the Hiragana and Kanji members is shaping up and will have a post(s) for that coming up soon.

  1. ohh boy not the viking, such a boring ride. $181 huh...that 20,000 yen is about $227 AUD...sigh

  2. Now I know you not to invite on a date, those gals could bankrupt me. Total would be much higher than 20,000 yen as that didn't include their trip to the park and other cash they spent before arriving at the restaurant.

  3. Good luck, for some unknown reason she keeps changing her number once she finds out that I know what her new number is. Kind of mysterious why she would do that, now that I think about it seems most members do the same thing....
