Kasumi Arimura: "Sekigahara" movie press conference pics and trailer

Sometimes I wish we could hear more from Kasumi but thinking about that more bet she has the most posts of any actress this year. Perhaps because she's such a huge fave of mine and of so many others here we can never get enough of her. Kasumi's asadora "Hiyokko" will be ending in September. That morning drama really takes up so much of her time or any other actress like herself who has the lead in those series.
Was also thinking Kasumi is a bit smart as she's never really slowed down on her activities after the "Biri Girl" film was such a massive hit two years ago. Noticed so many actresses tend to kick back and either take it easy or let the work come to them, before you know it they're yesterday's news and have seen that a few times in recent years with younger actresses. Not so for Kasumi who has been the busiest actress over the last 3-4 years as her popularity is at an all time high. Only problem is that Kasumi doesn't need to do any photo shoots like the above two pics though her semi-elegant look works for me.

Kasumi will be starring in a movie coming out on October 7th titled "Narratage". But before that film she'll be in another one that will be released on August 26th which is "Sekigahara". It's a period drama and a long one at that as the running time is close to 2 1/2 hours. The movie takes place in 1600 at the end of the Sengoku era, the East and West armies are battling for control of Japan.
Kasumi plays the character of Hatsume in the film who is a spy for the Eastern army. On July 18th there was a press conference for the film to announce it's completion. The event took place at the Toyosu Seaside Deck in Tokyo with the main cast appearing at it. Lot of big names are in the film, Koji Yakusho is one of the best actors of all time. Plenty of fabulous pics here from the event, no video is out for it so after the pics have the film's trailer.
