Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: Happy 20th birthday to Erika Ikuta!!!!

Was thinking about skipping this post due to Erika's less then flattering view of me....

.... but figured what the heck, at least she enjoys the pic I have in my hallway.

Nogi is slowly getting older, now there's only two Senbatsu members who are younger than twenty unless they choose a young gal for single #17. Hope it doesn't happen for a while but to me Erika seems like the logical choice to graduate next. She's really a talented piano player, singer and actress and she may not need the group that much these days.
Erika has done many stage musicals the last few years, currently she's in "Romeo and Juliet" which opened on January 15th and will be running until February 14th in Tokyo. After that the play will move to Osaka for two weeks, she's really one busy gal. In May Erika will be in another play "Les Miserables", she must have a fine voice as she has the lead roles in those musicals. Two pics here from her blog for the play.

Plus Erika just did an interview for the play for the Music Book site.

Two recent blog pics which naturally needed to be posted, hope she's not taking any graduation tips from her.

One missed Erika mag spread which came out in December from TV Person #53.

Erika and four other members had their 'coming of age' ceremony on January 7th, of course it took place at the Nogi Shrine in Tokyo.

To me the last two years Erika's attractiveness has increased more so than any other member, that's what getting a tad older will do and that top pic is one of my faves from 2016. It's from her first and only photobook to date, it's sold extremely well so let's hope for another one this year. After the pics check out a video from the opening night of the 'Romeo and Juliet" play.
