Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Manami Higa: Few recent happenings....

Last year wasn't among Manami's busiest though she still finished in the tenth position on my top twenty list. This year is shaping up to be a much more active year as she has a film coming out in the Fall titled "Sensei" She also appeared in a TV movie that aired on New Years plus this Saturday Manami's new drama is starting.
The title of it is "Honjitsu wa, Ohigara mo Yoku" and it'll be on the WOWOW network. It'll be her second leading role and sure the series will be easy to find but have a feeling it won't be subbed, would love it if I was wrong. Two posters for the drama plus some pics from a Mantan Web article.

There's never, ever been enough Manami mag spreads this last decade and probably never will be. Least when she does appear in them she does look so fabulous but the spreads need to be ten times bigger, from the February issue of Ginger.

Think Manami has been a spokeswoman for Panasonic's 'Let's Note' notebook for about four years now, she's always at an event for them plus has done so many CM's. On January 12th she was at an event for their new 'XZ 6' series of notebooks and is looking better than ever. Have no clue if Panasonic computers are any good, can't recall seeing them in stores or knowing anyone who has used them.
Plenty of pics here from today's event and hopefully there will be an event tomorrow or Saturday for the new drama. After the pics check out her new CM for 'Let's Note'.
