Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Nogizaka46: 2016 Magazine scans #81

Hasn't hit me too hard yet but will soon and am talking about Nanami's graduation. For the most part haven't talked about it too much nor is there a lot of discussion around the internet about it or not as much as you would think. However just looked at the date and realized her graduation concert is only 66 days away, kind of wish we could replace days with years but then that would mean a ninety year old Idol!
Sixty six days is still close to ten weeks so I'll wait until February hits before the talk about her leaving starts as there's plenty of fine new spreads today to celebrate. Kazumi's first photobook was released in September but she didn't appear in many mags promoting it though it still sold a respectable amount of copies. This week she's appeared in two solo mags and what better way to start the new year off than with some superb pics of her from Young Magazine #1 for 2017.

Speaking of photobooks Mai's second one is coming out in February and by the looks of the promo pics it could be the PB of the year(decade). No sense saying that means we'll be seeing more of her in mags as rarely a week goes by without her appearing in one, fabulous set of pics here from the January issue of EX-Taishu.

Also with a PB coming out is Asuka, isn't it incredible how much Nogi has grown over these last two or so years? Noticed things when I was doing their 'singles series', from 2012-14 they were popular but were getting more so every day. Now bet if you're in Japan it's hard turning on the TV or turning a corner without some mention of Nogi.
For a while was worried about them being over exposed but looks like their fans just can never get enough of them, as the saying goes strike while the iron is hot and they're more than hot. Asuka's PB will be coming out in a month, also won't say we'll be seeing more of her as she's someone who is also everywhere these days. Set of pics here is from the January Shonen Champion.
