Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

C-ute: Never too early for.... their 2017 calendar!?

True there's over three months to go in the year but seeing how these could be collector pics figured the one or two C-ute fans here would want them now! Sadly this will probably be their last calendar, but then again perhaps this one was released so early because they have another one that's coming out, have seen other Idols with 2-3 calendars for a year.
No title yet but the group's 31st single will be coming out on November 2nd. Was hoping it'd be a week or two before that date as Nogi will be releasing their next single on November 9th. Won't cut into C-ute's first week sales but will hurt them after that first week, will keep everyone updated when more news is released for the single.
Sigh, just nine more months left for these five individuals as a group and personally really going to miss them as their songs are far and away the best in J-Pop and have been since 2011. Of course will miss all of the members but one more than the others, need to get her to drop the 'used to' from that statement.

Their calendars are never huge size wise but they are a nice fit for your computer screen or you could put a few months together for a collage. Each month has two different versions and each of the five have their own solo month which is their b-day month....

Saki: February 5th
Maimi: February 8th
Mai: February 8th
Airi: April 12th
Chisako: June 21st
