Welcome to my humble site....

Hajimemashite minna san....welcome to my site on my fave Japanese Pop Culture likes such as dramas, movies, magazine scans, promo events etc. Mainly concentrate on my faves...Risa Watanabe... Kyoko Saito... Yui Kobayashi....Nana Owada.... Nene Shida.... if you're a fan at all of any of them then you've come to the right place(!) but many others are featured here besides them. Do mainly quick reviews on things I've watched, try to make the reviews brief, quick to read through with not too many spoilers, just whether they're good or bad and why I thought so plus whether you may find them enjoyable. Many, many screenshots are included from everything I've watched plus any video trailers if they're available. Hope you find something that interests you, don't hesitate to comment, arigato gozaimasu!

Miyuki Watanabe: Graduation post #1- 2016 NMB cards

Wow, now this is an offer that's kind of impossible to turn down!!!!

In case you weren't aware of it Miyuki has finally graduated from NMB, seems as though there's been many 'farewells' so  not entirely positive of when the official date was. She played her final concert with NMB in July but then also appeared on many TV music shows promoting their new single. Then on August 9th she played her final show at the NMB theater but last week's 'The AKB Show" was devoted to her so who really knows what date to use.
That's okay that it's been stretched out a bit as I'm really going to miss Miyuki, have said this for a few years now which is that no one tops her mag spreads and I really mean no one. Miyuki's second photobook was released last month and what s superb collection of pics it was. However today she was at an event for the release of another PB, am planning on doing a few posts for her graduation so will be back tonight with news about the book and event.
Miyuki had been the co-center for a few of NMB's singles but for the 15th she had the honors of being the only center, sadly it's her last one for the group. She did have a solo back in 2014 which was a fairly enjoyable tune, wonder if she's planning on any more of them as she hasn't really said what her plans are.

Those are two of the covers for that last single which is titled "Boku wa Inai". It's first week it sold 304,000 copies which was 74,000 more than the group's previous single. However have noticed the sales for the group's singles have been slowly going down, there was a stretch a few years ago where four out of five singles sold more than 400,000 copies in it's first week.
As mentioned will be doing a few of these 'graduation posts', will definitely be back later today with one for that new PB  and a few other things too. Only pics here are of Miyuki's NMB cards for this year and there's quite a few of them for you to enjoy.
